About the Role

As the OSHC Coordinator, you will oversee the service’s daily operations, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for school-aged children. You will play a key role in mentoring educators, maintaining compliance, and delivering high-quality care aligned with the National Quality Framework.

This is a full-time, permanent role that offers stability, professional growth, and the chance to make a real difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of educators in the day-to-day operation of the service
• Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate programs
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the wider community
• Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations and National Quality Standards
• Manage staffing, rosters, and administrative duties
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and service quality outcomes

Skills & Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Previous experience within an OSHC or childcare leadership position
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and My Time, Our Place framework
• Ability to work collaboratively and proactively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Passion for creating meaningful experiences for children

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, School Age Education and Care, or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
• Valid Working with Children Check (WA)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
• National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Full Australian working rights
