Qualifications and experience

To be considered, you will need:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications
• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard
• Previous experience in an early childhood setting is highly regarded
• Strong communication, reliability and adaptability
• A genuine commitment to children’s safety, learning and wellbeing

Your responsibilities

• Actively supervising and engaging with children
• Supporting planned and spontaneous play-based learning experiences
• Building warm, respectful relationships with children
• Helping children feel safe, secure and supported
• Assisting with meals, nappy changing and toileting routines
• Supporting permanent educators and centre leadership teams
• Contributing to observations, documentation and daily programs when required
• Maintaining clean, safe and welcoming learning environments
• Adapting confidently to different centres, rooms, age groups and routines
