Clinical Nurse Manager Full Time

BB Recruitment- Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead and support a dedicated team within one of our client’s healthcare facilities. This pivotal role is ideal for an exceptional nursing professional who thrives in a leadership capacity, ensuring the delivery of top-tier patient care and smooth operational management.

About the Role:

As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will provide strong leadership to our clinical and care teams, including Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Care Staff. You will oversee clinical assessments, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver the highest level of resident care. Your role will involve coordinating care, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion our client’s Mission, Vision, and Values in all aspects of care.
• Lead and supervise Clinical and Care Staff to achieve optimal resident outcomes.
• Develop, review, and maintain clinical assessments and individualised care plans.
• Coordinate resident-focused care and assess responses to interventions.
• Liaise with doctors and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Oversee AN-ACC submissions in collaboration with the AN-ACC Coordinator.
• Identify and implement innovative nursing practices and clinical improvements.
• Conduct clinical audits and ensure medication and personal care competencies.
• Facilitate professional development, training, and performance reviews for staff.
• Manage care-related complaints, ensuring open disclosure and effective resolution.
• Contribute to budgeting and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Ensure compliance with Accreditation Standards and contribute to Continuous Improvement Plan.
• Perform data analysis on clinical indicators, audits, and complaints to identify trends and implement corrective actions.

Selection Criteria:

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of five years of experience at the Clinical Nurse level.
• Background in aged care, extended care, or rehabilitation services.
• Proven experience in providing leadership and coordinating care services.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in nursing and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
• Desirable: Knowledge of the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) funding model, aged care standards, and guidelines.
