About the Role

As the Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a key role in developing and implementing engaging educational programs that support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

You will work collaboratively with educators, families, and leadership teams to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement high-quality educational programs aligned with the EYLF
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Create engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments
• Observe, document, and support children’s development and learning outcomes
• Mentor and support educators within the room and wider team
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and service policies
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience working within a childcare or early learning setting is essential
• Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and child development principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Passionate, professional, and team-oriented approach
• Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificates
• Full Australian working rights
• Current knowledge of Child Protection and mandatory reporting obligations
