BB Recruitment & Consulting is partnering with a well-established organisation within the education sector to recruit a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative technology team supporting both corporate and learning environments in a centrally located Perth CBD office.

About the Role

Reporting to the Technology Lead, you will be responsible for delivering responsive and effective IT support across a head office and associated education services. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the performance, security, and reliability of systems, devices, and infrastructure, while ensuring a seamless technology experience for end users.

You will work across a mix of on-site and remote support, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external providers to resolve issues and support ongoing technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support across systems, users, and infrastructure
• Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
• Support Microsoft 365 environments, identity management, and endpoint solutions
• Troubleshoot issues across Windows systems, networks, and AV/conferencing technology
• Assist with server, network, and cloud-based administration tasks
• Liaise with third-party vendors and managed service providers to resolve technical issues
• Contribute to system upgrades, rollouts, and technology improvement projects
• Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation
• Ensure adherence to IT policies, procedures, and cybersecurity requirements
• Manage and prioritise support requests to ensure timely resolution
• Identify opportunities to enhance system performance and user experience

About You

You are a proactive IT professional with a strong service mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You bring:

• Qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end IT support (Level 1–4)
• Strong troubleshooting and systems administration capability
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows environments, networks, and user devices
• Exposure to working in corporate, professional services, or education environments
• Experience contributing to IT projects, upgrades, and deployments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users
• A sound understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
