Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate AHPRA-registered Psychologist to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to client care, a passion for mental health, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and therapeutic services to a diverse client base.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and evidence-based practices.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
• Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community organizations to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of group programs and workshops as needed.

Requirements:

• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a psychologist.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in psychology.
• Demonstrated experience in providing psychological services across various settings and populations.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant software.

Desirable:

• Endorsement in a specific area of practice (e.g., clinical, counselling, educational, forensic psychology).
• Experience in working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Knowledge of and experience in delivering telehealth services.
