BB Recruitment & Consulting is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Childcare Cook to support one of our valued childcare services located south of the river.

This role is ideal for a cook looking for consistent, part-time work with the opportunity for ongoing engagement throughout the year.

About the Role

• Relief contract from May 2026 to June 2026
• Ongoing work available every Friday throughout the year
• Supporting a well-established early learning service
• Preparing nutritious meals for children in accordance with dietary guidelines and centre policies
• Ensuring kitchen compliance with food safety standards

This position will allow an educator to remain on the floor every Friday, providing valuable continuity for the children and team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a cook in a childcare or similar setting
• Knowledge of allergy management and special dietary requirements
• Understanding of menu planning aligned with nutrition guidelines
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desirable)
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
