What You’ll Do:

• Deliver person-centred nursing care tailored to Aboriginal communities, prioritising cultural understanding and respect.
• Educate and empower individuals and families to make informed health choices.
• Collaborate with local healthcare teams to coordinate effective care.
• Manage a broad range of health needs, from routine check-ups to chronic disease management.
• Support and participate in community health programs, aligning initiatives with cultural and community priorities.
• Promote preventative care and contribute positively to overall community health.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration.
• Experience working with Aboriginal communities and a strong awareness of cultural considerations.
• Knowledge of Aboriginal culture, traditions, and healthcare practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage respectfully and effectively with community members.
• Ability to work independently in remote locations while also contributing to team efforts.
• Strong organisational skills and adaptability to meet the needs of dynamic and challenging environments.
